So, WOYWW? Well, this week I finally finished my daughter's well-overdue birthday card, which I am rather proud of. You can visit my last post for the card details.
I've also been preparing my order for my first Stampin' Up club meeting at the end of the month. Just can't wait!!! There are soooooo many lovely stamps... but up to now I've got my mind set on the tiny tags kit with assorted punch... can't wait to spend a little dough! Hey! all this hard work has to have its good side! LOL!
This week I have a special order from my man's grandma in Belgium. She must have told him 5 times on Skype that she wanted a homemade card for her 88th birthday. I guess I'd better get to work... but what stamps to use?? Hmmm, isn't that a fun dilemma?
Hope you all have a great week! And don't forget to visit Julia at The Stamping Ground to know what this is all about!!
Thanx a million for your visit and for encouraging my madness!

Oooh lovely tidy desk there! Know what you mean about been constantly shattered and I dont work full time either! Enjoy making the card - love the one you have already made.
ReplyDeleteI'd use a funky stamp for the grandma cos not all old ladies want floral stuff - and if she's cool enough to use skype then she deserves something modern!! xx
ReplyDeleteOh, I have gone through that catalog more times than I can count! I have a list and when I get a chance....fun stuff for me! I hope you get LOTS of great stuff!
ReplyDeleteOo thats a lovely challenge - a card for an 88 year old gran - don't forget to show us what you make. x Jo

Now that's what I call a neat work space!! I'm envious!!
ReplyDeletehow wonderful that your husband's grandma wants a card made by you!
ReplyDeleteI only work part-time myself and feel permanently shattered. I am sure that some of it is down to the fact that I very rarely wake up naturally (which I always did post child) it's the thing I miss most of all. My sister keeps telling me it gets better once they are at school. Nest week my little one goes to nursery on Monday (and I don't work) so I am looking forward to getting some crafty time back :) Happy card making I am sure they will all be well received and treasured.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to find someone who actually WANTS a handmade card and will truly appreciate it. And well done for finishing your daughters card (eventually ;-)) Its a great picture and very apt for that age.
